Your team's data stays in your browser

The schedule maker runs entirely on your device: names, shifts and schedules are calculated in the browser and saved in its local storage (localStorage). There's no data server, no database and no user accounts. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, the schedule won't be there. “Backup → Download” gives you a file with everything to keep wherever you like or import in another browser; that file doesn't go through any server either.

The share link carries the schedule compressed after the "#" in the address. That part of the URL is not sent to the server when someone opens the link, but anyone with the link can see the schedule, including names.

Ads and cookies

For now the site loads no ads and no third-party scripts, and uses no cookies. If Google AdSense ads are added in the future, this page will explain it and your consent will be requested before any cookies are used.

Hosting

The site is a set of static files served by Cloudflare, which, like any hosting provider, may log technical data about visits (IP address, browser) for operation and security.
